Trees for Aluminium

TREES FOR ALUMINIUM

Schools and community groups across Cambridgeshire helped to plant trees donated by Alupro during National Tree Week 2004.

One tree was planted for every tonne of aluminium recycled last year- a total of 120 tonnes and 120 trees.

Thanks go to :

Queen Edith School and Streetscene at Nightingale Park, Cambridge City.

Ely St Mary School, the Ely Society, Branching Out and staff at Pocket Park, Ely.

Spring Common School and the Wildlife Trust at Buckden Landfill Site.

Milton Country Park.

Let's hope we have even more trees to plant in 2005!
